Basic Requirements for aviation training

  1. Candidate must be 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 percent grades in Physics and Math.
  2. The candidate must be at least 16 years of age to be qualified for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.
  3. Applicant’s eyesight in one eye must be without any defect. In medical terms, it is called 6/6 visual range of vision. In the other eye, you could have a blemish of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
  4. All the candidates applying for aviation training should be physically fit.

Student Pilot License

  1. Entrants must show up for written test in Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology and Air Navigation and Air Technical.
  2. Candidates must get a medical certificate from specialists assigned by the Director General of Civil Aviation.
  3. Aspirants need to get security consent.
  4. Applicants will need to show up for a viva voce examination and aptitude exam.
  5. If by all chance, the candidate pass the medical test and clear all the papers, he or she will be permissible for the student pilot license.
